Olive oil, 2 teaspoon(s)

Beef mince, low fat, raw, 400 g

Onion, any type, 1 medium, diced

Garlic, 2 clove(s), crushed

Carrot, 1 small carrot(s), halved and sliced

Mushrooms, 1.5 cup(s) sliced

Celery, 0.5 cup(s) chopped

Tomatoes, diced, canned, any type, 1 400g can(s)

Tomato paste, no added salt, 2 tablespoon(s)

Cooking instructions

Heat 1 tsp oil in a saucepan and cook mince until brown. Remove from pan and set aside.

Heat remaining oil and add onion, garlic and carrots. Cook for 5 mins.

Add mushrooms and celery and cook for 2 mins.

Add tomatoes and tomato paste and return mince to pan. Bring to a gentle boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins.
